I'm bettin' he massages the advance curve with different weights and/or
springs . Can mebbe run more total if you delay full advance , or let it
max out at lower rpm's ... but hafta be careful if that's what he's doing
, could cause some low rpm pinging if you're heavy with the loud hand .
Maybe uses progressive springs , bet they'd give you some interesting
advance curves !

Hey, here's an idea! Put a manual advance/retard on the left grip.
