Heh, I can relate to that. Spent yesterday reassembling the top end
of a small block Chevy.

Man, what a cool frickin' job you have. You're getting paid for doing
the stuff that most of us would do just to have fun. 'Bout the only job
better'n that would be a porno star. Think about THAT one. Work hard
for 3 minutes, then sleep for 8 hours. <g>

No pressure to get it done now, just do it at whatever pace, and get it done right.

Say...I have an addition to the Slug motto now that I'm about retired.
"No salt, no plans, and no pressure." I'm gonna quit watching the damn
news so I don't hear about all the killings and baby rapings anymore. I
have a fence with an electric gate around my place now so no one can
get in. Gonna get my shop up and running and I'll hide out in there and
let the world drift on by. No pressure.

Maybe now you'll get a chance to come down and check out what we do at
Vince's. Wouldn't mind a chance to learn about an old Studebaker.

My brother and I discussed going to Vince's just last week. He's
working in Denver right now...flies out Monday mornings and gets back
Friday nights...so he has only the weekends free. When he takes a few
days off sometime we'll make a road trip. Prolly won't take the actual
Stude with us the first time, but we'll bring lots of pictures and
maybe even a video or two so you'se guys can get an idea of what it
would take to make it go. Far as that goes, now that I have fast
internet I could send a video to ya. Or I could use a new and unique
method of getting it to you. I could use the United States Postal
Service! He's gonna be home for the 4th and we're gonna go mooch a
picnic offa him, so maybe we'll take the pics and video then.

He said there are local places that do restos, but he also said he
doesn't know them from ***. He added that since I know you, he'd feel
comfortable having a 'far away' place do the work cuz you'd keep an eye
on it for him.
