The crowd in here can get a little rough, especially with folks who
duck in and ask a question without lurking for a while, getting the
"feel" for the newsgroup, and posting an introduction. If that
seems like a lot of trouble just to get one quick answer, then this
may not be the right newsgroup for you. It's not that we don't
like you, it's just that we don't know you.

A couple of suggestions follow.

When replying to a message, it's a good idea to quote a little of
the question or statement to which you are replying. Not everyone
is able to read all the messages in order, and when you don't quote
what you're replying to, some folks have no idea what you're talking
about. For example your message above. The text of the message is
"Elko, Nevada." Lot of folks won't know that you were replying to a
question about where you are located.

Secondly, if this is a troll, I'm gonna be really upset.

Thirdly, provide enough details about the situation so that someone
can recognize if they've had a similar experience and can reply with
a helpful suggestion. Is the water dripping from the ceiling? Is
the garage/barn open to the elements, sealed, or somewhere between?
Is the garage/barn floor dirt or concrete or wood? Things along
those lines.

If this seems too much like work, then "adios," but if you don't
