Good luck on that Steve. Was just told by one of the Vet Reps at the Dayton VA that they are unofficailly only approving 1 in 10 for comp. I have an appeal still in the system that is over 13 years old without ever hearing an answer yet.


I'd be looking for an increase in the disability I've already got........I've been carrying a service connected disability (and getting paid for it) for over 25 years.

Worst case scenario would be that I get them to buy me a nice set of hearing aids, keep them updated for the rest of my life.....and proved frikkin batteries.

    ... Steve, as far as hearing aids, my dad had a cool set. ... It had different settings for different situations and he could set each ear individually. ... My dad wears his and keeps trying to talk me into getting a pair...... ...
