Yeah...we've lost three guys from our local "group" this year. Guess I'm glad I ride a lumbering hulk of a geezerglide and always bring up the rear. Usually Paul and I are miles behind the rest of the group plodding along on our "cruisers" (Paul rides a somewhat full dress Honda Valkyrie). Paul did get the go fast bug earlier in the year. He bought a used Honda crotch rocket, on his second day at the track (and in full leathers, etc., laid it down in a corner and totaled it. He walked away without a scratch....but his Mrs put her foot down, he was not allowed to repair or replace the crotch rocket......the end of his sportbike days.
