Iron ***

Hi there, have a glass of red Brunello on me :-)

I'm reading about Iron ***, and noticed that surprisingly few HDers do it:
why?
Apart from the lack of scenery - you can't see that much when you keep on
riding and never stop -, putting yourself and your bike to the limit in such
a way sounds like an adventure in itself.
I'd like your POW on this.
