Just caught the weather reports for N/AZ.........overnight lows 26F around Flagg and Belmont......brrrrrrr. I'll have to bundle up a bit
Just watch for the ice, Steve. In June, heading to MINM, I passed through Flag around 8 AM. It hadn't rained the night before, but there were still signs of frost on the grass, and condensation on the highway. By this time it was a balmy 42 degrees. Don't think I'd wanna see it at 26.
Yeah, even though I live on the floor of the desert (Hell) here in Phoenix......I grew up and learned to drive/ride in Ohio. I try real hard to stay out of the shadows.
next week to meet Rick, but then shed most of it as we come down the hill to meet you then cross the Mohave Desert.
Yep, you'll be shedding it alright. The temperature should stay cool till Kingman. Then, 10-minutes west of Kingman--wham--straight into hell. Still, we should be just dipping below 100 by next Thursday, so it should be perfect riding weather.
Got that right.......suppose to be leftover rain from the Hurricane coming up Baja on Monday/Tuesday, but should blow to the east (right at Rick) by Wednesday/Thursday.......
