I have a 2003 fatboy with open pipes. It sounded great up until recently and I haven't changed a thing.
Performance hasn't changed.
Cracked Y pipe (if you have one)? I always know when mine's getting bad because the sound changes... Yes, I've been through several. Or maybe they've fixed that problem by now. Yeah, right, and I've just been crowned the Queen of England. 8-)
