You're welcome - while I gotcha here:

I saw some of your discussion of backing up computer files. I'm
finding that home-burned DVDs have a VERY short life and I'm
considering just filling up hard drives with my video files, unhooking
them, putting them in a shoebox in the attic for archives.

How stupid am I being?
