GG125 - where is the crank oil seal?

I don't understand what I'm seeing under the clutch on my 125. I'm
changing the crank seal from the outside, but I don't want to ruin
something important by accident. I took a picture, but it's on my
laptop which can only access the I-net via dial up (can't get a
network to work w/ my DSL service), and my extremely reliable dial-up
service won't allow me to access anything lately. Ironically, being
an IC designer, I hate technology.
With the clutch basket out, I see the crankshaft coming out of what
I'd guess is the outside surface of the crank bearing. Half of this
assumed bearing outer edge (~1 1/2" in diameter)is exposed, the other
half is shielded by a flange cast into the case. What I see around
the crank (in order of decreasing diameter) is a thin stripe of metal
(outer race), a thin ring of what looks like rubber, then a metal ring
outside of another metal ring, each about 1/8" or so thick. The
smallest metal ring is just outside the crankshaft surface. When I
spin the crankshaft, the innermost ring turns with the shaft. I can
hold that inner ring and turn the shaft inside the ring, but with some
difficulty. I'm currently assuming that this inner ring is the oil
seal that I want to change, but all of these ringed areas are flush
with each other, meaning that the oil seal is sitting inside the
bearing somehow (?). Based on the one exploded picture of a GG motor
I found, it doesn't look like these surfaces can be flush, so I'm
fairly well confused at the moment.
Someone in the know - please tell me what I'm looking at and where/how
to pry to pop out the crank oil seal.
Thanks - JayC
