Two questions:I do... and I did. But I have a use for both...
If you had an enclosed and a utility trailer, would you keep both? Not sure
what I need the utility for.
What do you do with the utility trailer that you won't use the enclosed
for, if I can ask?
Haul things (like tear off shingles, trash, scrap steel) that are too
messy/dirty/etc or simply will not fit in the enclosed trailer... some
things fork lifted can be hard to get into an enclosed trailer too.
Second re: Pingle bike shoe. Great design... respositionable. But on the
way up and on the way back from VT, one side of the shoe lifted out of the
mounting plates. I had what I thought was very good forward pressure with
the tie downs. The shoe is about 18" from the front wall and the tie downs
are in the corners. I attached at the inboard position of the top of the
front engine guards. I figure I collapsed the forks about 60%. Any ideas
appreciated.
Bolt them down using something like this...

Make them yourself...
Dudley... I think those things you make ROCK. I put off mounting a chock
until the last minute and had to go with what was local. I was pleasantly
surprised to find the Pingel setup
http://www.pingelonline.com/removable_wheel_chocks.htm
which does seem well made. I have found a bunch of glowing reports for
these but cant figure out why in my case, they back out and lift on one
side.
Aren't the straps supposed to hold the bike against the chock against
the pingles? Is there more than one size/type of pingle... maybe you
got a mismatch? Pingles are still a bit of a toe stubber. If you don't
really need the convient removeability... just bolt them down solid.
