Thanks dewd and dewdette. I'm feeling every bit my age today, but I
mostly have to thank Jeff and vlj for that. Freakin' sadists, those
two. My first trail ride in 2 years on a bike I have no familiarity
with, and they take me into the rockiest 'trails' I've ever ridden.
Think rocky streambed tilted at 30° for mile after mile. Sheesh!
Seriously, though, it was a blast, and I re-learned quite a bit of
technique from those two. In 2 months, I'll be ready for Idaho, seeing
as everything else I ride from here on out will look like blacktop
compared to yesterday! Time for some cross-training, too.

BTW, Jeff/Vic, any word from the guy (who will remain nameless) who ran
himself over with his own bike? (THIS is a good story)
