There is no adjuster at the basket.There is an adjsuter at each end
the cable. Regardless of the age of the bike, the owner should know
how to check for freeplay (or lack of) since a clutch can, and will
tighten up causing the clutch to burn up.
In the owners manual, it goes through a pre-ride check list. Checking
cable free play is part of every pre-ride list.
