I have tried to stay out of these threads as there is no changing anyone's
mind on the issue. Hopefully I have encouraged a few new lurkers to
research the issue on their own and find out what a diverse collection of
threats are closing our areas. No one issue is closing most areas, and in
turn just concentrating on one issue won't keep an area open. Noise in and
of it self is a broad issue. Many things come into play when looking at the
noise issue and would require page after page of post to really look at it.
In trying to stay out of it I attempted to avoid conflicts like some that
started here. I feel that many guys that act like they do are better people
in person, some aren't. With that said I'm done with this thread. If
someone would like to have an open, respectful dialog about the issue, or to
know the research I have done, I would be more than happy to discuss it in
email. To those that do post respectfully I have enjoyed the discussion.
