They were introduced in the late sixties I think, they can used for
just about anything...command centers, communications, storage
containers, small generators...I hauled a many of them around Korea,
both mounted (on vehicles) and dismounted. Most were filled with comm
gear. Some were radio relay stations. Some would have a fold up and
telescoping antennas mounted on them while yet others contained small
gen sets inside them. I once saw one that was the units Post Office!
