Either the hobby shop I am getting my Humbrol/Tamiya paints from is not storing them correcting, or I have stuffed up the paints.

That said, has anyone attempted to use art paints that are oil based?

I went to the local art shop, a bit overwelmed by the selection:
Me: I am looking for some oil based paints.
Her: With linseed, sunflower, peanut, turpintine, white spirits, citris? (She prateled on about a dozen or so more)
Me: Huh??
Her: What base are you looking for? Lead, iron, zinc, titanium? (Same as before)
Me: Huh??

I will try a larger one, that I have been to before hope to have more luck.

Thanks for the feedback.
