Check out Morane-Saulnier MS 500 (and MS 501 and MS 502).
Several hundred Fw 156s were produced in France under German
occupation. After the Germans pulled out, essentially the
same aircraft was continued in production under the MS 500
designation.
The MS 501 and 502 were post-war up-engined versions of the MS
500 with radial engines.
