Just because I show understanding to what Mr Saloom wrote, my hat is on too tight? You really are amusing me.
From his earlier
posts, the good Mr Saloon seems to have a good grasp on the use of English. The misunderstanding in his earlier post did not stem from unfamiliarity or inexperience with the language but from poor sentence construction. That said, you are free opine in French, Italian, Russian, Romanian, Arabic, Hangul, or any language you choose. There is no rule that says your post must be in English (though bloviation, in any language, is not particularly encouraged). Since most of the readers seem to be English speakers, a non-English post will limit the audience but you're free to post in any language you choose; your only limitations are those of your keyboard.
Regarding your other comment; you assume much, sir. As I indicated earlier, the fact I (or anyone else) do not agree with Mr Saloon's concepts, feel the same sentiments in the same manner, or have the same ideas on current events, politics, or social issues does not, as you and Mr Saloon put it, make me judgmental (I assume you mean that with negative connotation), racist(others have already eloquently identified the commonly improper use of the term "racist" so I will not further belabor that point), xenophobic or a stormtrooper whose political philosophy dictates that I am superior to anyone else. What it makes me, sir, is a person with a different opinion or viewpoint. Are people with a different opinion from you considered "judgmental, racist, xenophobic or stormtrooper whose political philosophies dictates that they are superior to everyone else" where you come from? If not, why would you consider that to be the case in America? With that;
Well Bill, Mr Saloons words were addressed to non-US r.m.s readers, so what makes you expert to explain me what a non-US reader is really thinking about these postings.
I figured that he is not speaking only of this thread, but the r.m.s in whole. I've been reading r.m.s for some 5 or maybe more years and for the last year been feeling nausea of OT political quarreling here. It's not that it's political or OT, it's not that it's argumentative, but it is just the mental picture you get of US citizens. It's like everybody has right to write, but the truth will be read only from (republican) US writings.
But you should be annoyed of my point of view or that I'm thinking Mr Saloon is expressing one view from this side of Atlantic Ocean very cleverly. Why should you. You are true American and therefore always right.
I'm just worrying what US is doing next in world politics.
> Laurie, adieu.
You have one happy habit twisting opponents names. You must be proud of that.
