FMS Simulator won't respong to Throttle on Walkera Tx with PPJoy

I built a parallel port (LPT1:) interface cable to interface my Walkera
Tx (from my Dragonfly 36 Helicopter) to my PC. I'm using PPJoy to make
the Tx appear as a standard joystick in Windows XP. The interface cable
and PPJoy appear to be working correctly since the bars in FMS
Calibration Screen respond properly to all Tx Stick movements. The Tx
works perfectly when flying Fixed-Wing Aircraft in FMS. All controls
work great (Throttle, Rudder, Aileron and Elevator). However when I try
to switch to a Helicopter Simulation in FMS, the Throttle on the Heli
will not respond to the Tx Stick inputs, even though all Tx Stick
movements appear to be working fine in the calibration. I hace tried
mapping the throttle function to other stick movements besided that
standard left-stick up-down, but it (Helicopter Throttle) will not
reswpond to any stick inputs at all. The only eay I can get the
Helicopter in the air is by using the keyboard to advance the throttle,
which in not very convenient or realistic.
Why won't the FMS Help Throttle respond to my Tx Stick input ?
Has anyone else out there had this problem ?
