More on current draw of glow plugs
It varies from plug to plug.
I had a twin with 2 inverted engines and wired an onboard glow starter with
a 3 volt battery and the plugs in series. It worked fine for years until I
changed a glow plug and it had a different resistance from the other. The
plug with less resistance did not light up.
