Re: Slipping into quicksand

Nonsense.  More right wing propaganda from people DESPERATE for Obama
to fail.

He is failing all on his own.

His personal approval rating is plummeting; and his ratings on actual
issues are already well below 50 percent. The only thing people like
about the guy is, well, the guy himself. His charisma is the ONLY
thing keeping him afloat right now, and that is fading fast.

Nearly 70% of Americans now consider his stimulus package to be a
mistake. And they're right - it was a huge mistake. It did more harm
than good. It cost more jobs than it saved. It did long term damage
that we won't recover from for decades. It was an act of pure
thievery.

His cap and trade bill is going to die a glorious death in the senate,
and the majority of people - regardless of party - will be happy about
that. And they'll be right to be happy - the bill is a disaster that
does absolutely none of what it was supposedly intended to do.

He is going to fail to pass the health care reform that he actually
wants, despite his party holding the majority in both chambers of
Congress; and the majority of Americans believe that what he is
pushing is wrong. So instead, assuming they pass anything, they will
pass a watered down version that will piss off the majority of
Americans for being passed at all, and that will alienate his base
(the progressives) for being watered down.

The man has turned out to be EXACTLY what we said he would be: An
inexperienced, unqualified empty suit who isn't even remotely equipped
to handle the office. His entire campaign was based on his own
personal charisma and widespread resentment of George W. Bush - and
he's running out of both. On his own, he proves himself to be
incapable of rising above the status of community organizer. Not a
leader, just an organizer. There is a difference.

After all, if Obama doesn't fail conservatives are finished
forever and they know it.

He is going to fail, and fail hard.

And while the republican party may be finished, conservatism is alive
and well. Conservatism is growing. More people consider themselves
conservative now than did last year; it's a movement across party
lines. People are sick and tired of rampant government spending; and
of arrogant elitists pricks trying to regulate every aspect of their
lives.

Really sad part is conservatives would
rather see this once great country go down in flames rather than admit
they've been wrong about everything.

The really sad part is that so many people were wrong when they put
their faith in an untested, unvetted, and ultimately unqualified man
who promised them far more than he was able - and, as it turns out,
even honestly planning - to deliver.

The Obama that people voted for is not the Obama that people got.
People are starting to wake up to that; hell, even the media is
starting to wake up to that. People are actually starting to question
the things that he says, and that is the last thing he wants.
