This post is beyond uncanny. I NEVER drop stuff and fail to catch it.....until today.
It was a cup...full of boiling water...and I now have a nice burn to prove it.
Key the Twilight Zone music......
Mine's more bland. I took my kid out to an area not far away, where they breed and keep racehorses, thoroughbreds and such.
I like to just feed them carrots, apples and have my little one with me to enjoy the spring day and the beasts....
I had three spirited horses and was feeding them and my six year old was all gaga at their hunger and I was enjoying their horse smell and scratching their heads and patting them and now out of carrots one managed to bash his big teeth right into my forehead and leave a small gash, with a bit of blood leaking out of me.
Horses don't really know where their heads are, and I sort of cackled at the minor injury and assured my daughter it was nothing, and that I loved being around the horses and it was okay getting minor injury. It's right next to a 34 yr old scar where a girl actually bashed her tooth into my farhead during a moment of 'I'll show you mine, if you show me yours'..... a nice little scar, and worth it, memory wise :^)
