cup. Actually the idea for this came to me as I caught a water bottle
which fell off my desk yesterday. A passing student knocked it off,
and even though I was rummaging through my bag for a teacher's book,
my right hand shot out and caught it as it tipped over. I surprised
myself but I don't think anyone else noticed.
I'd even go so far as to "speculate" that combined with situational
awareness, "fast eyes and fast hands" are a prerequisite for good
martial arts.
So, how about you? Do you have any cup-catching stories to share? :)
This post is beyond uncanny. I NEVER drop stuff and fail to catch it.....until today.
It was a cup...full of boiling water...and I now have a nice burn to prove it.
Key the Twilight Zone music......
