Wrong. But then that's only par for the course for you. Do you
_really_ believe that a piece of paper would stop a majority of
Christians from changing it if they really were the slavering
fiends you paint them as?

most "blue laws" existent in this country have been removed because
of Constitutional issues. Women's rights have been protected
because of Constitutional issues. Slavery has been abolished for
the same
reason. You enjoy freedoms in America because it was established
as a secular republic. Clearly it would not be anywhere near the
same if
it was a Christian theocracy. You most clearly cannot compare the
USA to Muslim theocracies and claim all that is good in America is
because of Christians. It is not.

And what, exactly, is required to cahnge the Constition. Come
on, Hal, it's not that hard a question.

Your "clearly" is anything but. If the Christians were as bad as
you constantly portray them then the Constitution _would_ be changed.

First Amendment: addresses the rights of freedom of religion
(prohibiting Congressional establishment of a religion over another
religion through Law and protecting the right to free exercise of
religion), freedom of speech, freedom of the press, freedom of
assembly, and freedom of petition.

Unfortunately, that has nothing to do with the question. The question
wasn't about what the Constitutional protections currently are, but about
what it takes to _change_ them. You have heard of the Amendment process
haven't you? You know, the way the Constitution is _supposed_ to be changed
(as opposed to this "reinterpreting" crap that gets handed down).

If Christians were the fiends you portray them as, it _would_ be
changed. The senators and congressmen necessary for Congressional approval
_would_ be voted in. Ditto the State governments necessary for
ratification.

It doesn't happen because your portrayal of Christians and Christianity
is wrong. It's really that simple.

because, in case you aren't following, when Christians have
absolute control, their abuses are just as bad as extremist
Muslims.

Examples (20-21st century only) please.

Still waiting.

And still waiting.
