The Old Testament is the Word of God Himself! Are you saying He lied?

Oh, I get it: despite it being the unerring and eternal word of God
Himself, its "best before" date lapsed. Odd, that!

Regards.
Huh?

Ok, let's say he deprecated or superseded it, instead of
"invalidated." Happy now?

No.

Throughout the Old Testament God is the very personification of what a spoiled, nasty, vindictive three-year-old would do if given unlimited power.

The uplifting core message of the Old Testament is "Don't mess with Yahweh or He'll *** you good" - whether you're a member of his "chosen gang" or one of the opposition.

The Jesus comes along and now God is all sweetness and light. Gooood, I guesss...

----Except for the "run for the hills, hide us" speech..."sons against fathers" ect....

Actually, that's fairly straightforward..

---But it's *not* sweetness and light.....

Where does it guarantee sweetness and light?
