Wrong, Hal - several people corrected you after they considered what
you wrote and determined that it was bull***.

Ah, yes, of course, more vague references while avoiding the point.
Bull***. =A0"several people". =A0 Argumentum ad populum. =A0

No, idiot - a direct response to your above claim that nobody "even
bothered to consider" what you were saying. You really need to stop
with the logical fallacy bull***; you understand them as little as
anything else, and all you end up doing is detracting from an already
worthless position.

You are deliberately mis-stating Kirk's hypothesis. =A0What Kirk was
talking about was using data like handedness, preferred lead, and
"tells" to determine what direction a fighter would move. =A0It was
never about predicting a truly random event.

and I explain to him and you that there was no such reliable data to
be able to determine a pattern and it would simply be a random guess,
therefore you most likely would be wrong half the time. =A0Please wipe
off the drool and try to pretend you get it.

You were wrong then and you're wrong now; it is not a random guess.

it is a random guess because there is no such reliable system for
making a prediction. If you think there is then define it here...

And if we were talking about some random event like a coin toss, you
would be on to something. =A0You'd still be completely out in left field
in terms of your understanding; but you'd at least be in the right
city. =A0As it stands, you missed the game entirely.

the whole point is you don't know. =A0You do not have adequate data to
be able to establish a pattern therefore randomness takes over.
Randomness gives you a 50% chance of being wrong.

The data would be inadequate for someone like you with no experience;
we were talking about how a *fighter* would use the data.

what data? You never presented any.

now go ahead and miss the point again...

Hal
