That there will be a another worldwide recession or depression seems inevitable.
When it does happen, we'll all likely see the reason/s as obvious...but not so
obvious that we could actually predict it with any degree of certainty,
especially the timing.

Huh? "We"? Speak for yourself, please. Nothing irritates me more
than when others say that "we" cannot imagine something or "we" could
not foresee something and that this "we" includes me.
The reasons for this coming one are obvious now: supply-side
economics is a heresy. Also, economists do not factor in the inherent
systemic limits when they assume perpetual exponential growth. These
factors simply have been IGNORED by economists, including global
warming, pollution, peak oil, etc. Rosy growth forecasts ignore very
real headroom limits imposed by the real world. Reality is going to
intrude upon our "goldilocks" economy very shortly and very rudely.
