In that context, I like it a lot; brutal, direct, efficient and reasonably
easy to maintain with minimal practice-time commitment.
Probably won't be very effective against a UFC performer though.

This raises an interesting point, Herb.

What type of attacker does one's martial art anticipate? Imo many arts assume the
attacker is a bit of a dufus, and in many cases, they'd be right. This also
explains why so many crummy arts seem to work. Of course, many arts claim to
provide you with the skills to beat a badass, but usually that's just hype.
