house prices were going up and everyone was awash in money.

And legions of your lenders have made loans where the mortgagors have minimal or
no equity. The UK went through this in the late 80s, with hordes of borrowers
with negative equity when housing prices took a dip.

Every indicator available says our economy is in a very, very sound position. You
sure you're not an economist in disguise? I like this definition of an
economist...the guy who has predicted twenty two of the past five recessions ;>)

How did you go in the Mundials? Whatever, hope you had fun and learned

I got a little bit screwed by the refs but didn't execute my
gameplan. I need to compete more.

I don't know anyone who has competed for any length of time that hasn't been
screwed at least once by what they consider to be suspect reffing
