It's like anything else; some you lose, some you don't.
All of the 'unbeatable' guys eventually get beat-

It's not like kung fu guys, karatekaor fireball-throwing ninjas were
winning vale tudo fights, pride japan or ufc 1-3 before they started
outlawing techniques.

Who knows?
They still don't get paid well-
were the Gracies importing fighters and paying them sufficient to attract
them from foreign lands?
Nobody ever heard of 'Vale Tudo' until after the fact-
and, who's going to go to Brazil for free?
