1) The clown pants are for hidding knives, pistols and s/o shotguns.

2) They constantly fight among themselves so while they may not have
good form or technique they will have a bit of experience and plenty of
aggressiveness.

3) They like to act as a group so even if one is easy to take by
himself if word gets out you can expect a drive by shooting targeting
your family.

4) Showing them respect they do not deserve has a good chance of
getting them to leave you alone unless you have something they want.
(Most of those poor saps are going to be dead by 25 anyways so in the
big picture it doesn't matter if you let them save face)

5) If you have something they want remember they use the "field of
fire" technique so use proper tactics and you just might make it.
