Certainly takedown that doesn't require you to roll onto the ground
with the takedownee. Basic Judo throws perhaps--both gi and no gi (Karo
Parisyan has done a lot of research on the latter).
First not everybody has the skill or inclination to follow up once the
other party is on the ground. Second throwing somebody onto the
pavement is most probably a fight ender anyway, unless you're trying to
do it on a Judo expert... which probably will end the fight for you
(not you Kirk, you in general).
