Dear "Todd Solondz"

Your story is a similar one I have heard many times over. The problem
isn't so much how you trained but what you trained. Wing Chun does not
cut it when it comes to defending yourself against they typical
hooligan grappler you may see walking into your class. These hooligan
grapplers make me laugh sometimes. The go to a Brasillyian Jiu Jitsu
school thinking they want to go into Mixed Martial Arts. After a mere
six months they want to test themselves against other people. Of
course, as typical of a hooligan, they will not get into a fight with
someone that may be a challenge. They will go to a Wing Chun school or
a Karate school, pretending to not be good (otherwise known as
sandbagging) and then when the sparring happens they will strut their
stuff on the other beginners in the class simply so that they can
impress themselves. These meatheads get so impressed with themselves
being able to perform a technique like Omo Plata on a 15 year old girl
that they practically wet their pants.

Within the context of your class you are not prepared to fight one of
these hooligan grapplers because you do not train for these kinds of
punks on a regular basis. I proclaim that if you were to step into a
BJJ school and perform Biu Jee, Siu Lim Tao or Chum Kiu techniques on
them they will cry "no fair! You can't do that here" as they walk away
bruised and bloodied.

You will never see these punks show up at a Shaolin Ninjitsu© school
because they know what would happen and how the fight would end against
a practitioner of Shaolin Ninjitsu©. Had you spent six years learning
Shaolin Ninjitsu© you'd be defeating him "about 11 times" in an open
sparring session. He wouldn't "sub" you at all.
