Say it ain't so!
Paleo-Liberal
You scored 60% on social permissiveness and 58% on economic
permissiveness.
A Paleo-Liberal believes in a low to moderate amount of social
intervention, and a moderate amount of economic intervention. They may
embrace certain aspects of economics and capitalism, while supporting
moderate to strong civil liberties. They tend to emphasize domestic
welfareand be against police powers, war, and laws regulating individual social
behavior. They generally believe in a "smaller" social safety net or
bestate then other liberals and personal liberty. Modern Paleo-Liberals may
ofconsidered to be the remnants of the more anti-authoritiarian "new left"
Paleo-Liberalthe 60's and 70's. Paleo-Liberals may sometimes form alliances with Civil
Libertarians, Left Libertarians and Centrists. Examples of a
would be Mark Warner, Russ Feingold, and Thomas Paine.

Hurts to have your stereotypes shattered, doesn't it.
So how do you feel about universal health care coverage (single payer
system, NOT socialized medicine)?
Fallacy of Composition. Even if the test assessment is on the mark
(something I'm not entirely willing to stipulate for reasons that I'll
summarize below) it would be no guarantee that I agree with _everything_ in
he "Paleo-Liberal" position, let along liberal in general. But to answer, I
have a strong suspicion that most "universal health care" implementations
will, in the end, do more harm than good. The devil, as they say, is in the
details.
And the usual problem with these "tests" is that they only count issues,
not weigh them. On some hypothetical test, if someone gave six "Liberal"
answers and five "Conservative" ones they would be listed as "liberal" even
if the "Liberal" issues were on topics that they considered less important
and the "Conservative" issues were on topics that they considered vital.
