Re: I am a streetfighter!

streetfighters and decided to clear somethings up.
People think streetfighters have no technique, don't train, are fat
slobs like Tank Abbott and would easily be beaten by any guy with BJJ
lessons or a few MMA classes. Well that's not true. You guys seem to
think streetfighter means untrained. Well a bunch of guys are, but
don't group us all in that category.

I have trained in boxing, judo, muay thai, also done some kali and
silat. I wrestled 4 years in school and have recently added BJJ to my
training. I have grown up in some of the toughest neighborhoods in
Northern California and have been fighting all my life. In school, in
the streets or where ever. Yes, I enjoy fighting and I go out on
weekennds to clubs and bars knowing full well that I will likely be in
a fight or two before the night is over. Sometimes I am and sometimes
it doesn't happen. I have won most of them, but have lost some as well,
but that is part of the game. I get a rush from it and can't explain
how much of a high it is knocking some guy out and watching him twitch
unconciously on the ground.

I am not a bully and hate them. I am just a guy who doesn't back down
and demands respect. If some drunk *** doesn't give it to me then
we will settle it like men. To me this is the most primal and honorable
way to settle things. We fight and afterwards it is squashed and
everything is cool. I have never fought anyone who didn't want to.

I know many of you guys who think you are tough and above everyone else
because you are MMA fans or train some BJJ or MMA think I am a thug or
are getting ready to spout some pussified self righteous bull***.
Whatever. The fact is if you were more like me and willing to settle
things like men then there would be less problems, womanly bitching,
gunplay and other nonsense.

I can't understand why anyone who calls themself a MMA fan would look
down on a streetfighter since it is the truest form of fighting. Two
men fighting all out with no rules, ref or politics. No weight classes,
excuses or smack talk. You step outside with me then boom boom boom
it's over and done.

No I am not an idiot who will wind up in jail because I have friends
who are cops and know me. I also don't hang around after a fight. I've
had anywhere from 70-90 fights and have never gotten arrested.

I'm just a little tired of hearing guys think some clown with 6 months
of BJJ would destroy any random guy on the street. Guess what. I have
standup and grappling and am the streetfighter you guys keep looking
down at.

So next time you start ragging on street fighters, just realize that
not all of us are clueless brawlers who gas in a minute. There are
trained fighters out there who will knock you out or take you down,
pass your guard and choke you out. I'm not the baddest guy in the world
by a longshot, but I back my talk up and prove it in street on a
regular basis. To me that is more of a proving ground than a cage with
some ref and rules to protect you when you decide to tap out when it
gets tough.
