Stoves are pretty demystified and plenty of kids still get hurt with them.
Guns have the strong disadvantage of being fatal. I won't get into a
legislation debate, but if you have guns in your own house there ought to
be some gun control of your own accord - lock them up away from the kids.
The wonder is that there are so few accidents in a country this large and
this well-armed. Deaths from accidents run in the thousandths of one percent
of population/firearms.
