That's not at all clear; there's a considerable disturbing trend toward "I'm having a Diet Coke (instead of a regular Coke @ 150 kcal) so I can have this piece of pie (@ 300 kcal)."
Since apparently the companies agreed voluntarily, I don't see much
cause for outrage. And if anyone is offended, I'm sure that it would be
more productive to get out and do something (like the do-gooders do)
than to bitch about it on the internet :)
I wonder how much school soda sales contribute to Coca-Cola's/Pepsico's bottom line.
