No, Jujitsu , in it's form back then, was used by the ninjas and
everyone else who used hand to hand combat.
If they were tracing those moves further back in time to china and
saying some were influenced by the Mid east.. who knows, but in Feudal
Japan, it was Jujitsu, and the different styles from different groups
or families..
