I'm going to rewatch the DVD either tomorrow or the day after tomorrow
and post back the way the instructor demonstrated it. But in the
meantime, the move was more like illustration number 47 in the link you
gave above; except the elbow was not tilted up in the air. The arm was
straight and if I remember right, your fist is supposed to be directly
in front of your face. I could be wrong.

I will post a link to the two DVDs in a few minutes. Just about every
move in them are also Asian martial arts techniques. They even have the
spinning backfist they do in karate tournaments (sp.). The guy in the
tape says that that's an Irish technique from the days of bareknuckle
boxing (before gloves).
