My eight year old son is beginning Brazilian Ju Jitsu classes today. We

things I have overlooked would be appreciated,
Just go watch the lessons from time to time. Don't do anything when
you're there, just watch. It lets the instructor know you're watching,
but also lets him know he's free to run the class. And it lets your
son know that you care, and shows him you're not just using it as
"babysitting".
Other than that, just sit back and enjoy, really.
Young kids seem to really appreciate their parents being there ...
mainly to show off I think (look what I can do). Good for the
kids and the club to have interested parents.
