Heh. There was a guy in town a bunch of years ago who had one of
these wonderful fantasy résumés - trained at the Shaolin Temple until
the Cultural Revolution, at which point he fled to Hong Kong and
trained with Yip Man... yeah... anyway...

He was also claiming to be 9 times winner of the World Kung Fu
Championships. I later found out that these Championships consisted
of a local tournament, populated exclusively by his students and him,
and that he managed bravely to triumph over them 9 years in a row.
