There is no 'the ID'ists'- the term itself makes a distinction from any
particular 'religion'. The whole question is, for Americans anyway, a
Constitutional one.
Atheists would like to make it a 'separation of Church from State' question
(unmentioned in the Constitution in any case).
It isn't.

ID goes far deeper than simply the creation of life, much less the
expression of intelligence. It's more about the organizational nature of the
Universe- whether this is all an accident or not.
