McKee, Cowell, Reynolds, Russell....East Tennessee since pre 1800,
except for Reynolds who came in the mid 1800's. Part of the clan came
from Scotland to Tennessee and stayed poor. Part went to North
Carolina where RJ Reynolds made a little money selling tobacco
products.
They were divided between mostly devout Christians and a few petty
criminals, making liquor being a staple.
Just a bunch of farmers and hell raisers.
