I have a friend whose superpower is to not only be completely unable to
comprehend English, and thus be completely free to make *** up, but
he's also able to infect those around him. It took me 2 years to break
free of his evil gift after we were roomates.

The most remarkable proof of this is going out to restaurants: the
servers only understand him if they aren't standing too close to him.
And, one time, there were some kids running around and the "circle of
confusion" was obviously defined by where they stopped, looked around,
and suddenly didn't know what the *** they were doing.
