I read that site when you emailed it to me and it gave me pause. Bad
pause. Some of the things make sense. Some of them are way, way, way
out and highly unlikely.

For example, Parkinson's disease is multi factorial: I'm pretty sure
it isn't just down to shoes.

It's the typical clutching at straws some alt med folks do. A->B->C=D
When if fact the causal links aren't there.

I'm not saying the feet aren't important, both bio-mechanically and
neurologically. My stance is pretty much the same as the one in
'Higher Judo' - artificial "retardation" in foot use leads to poor
knee and hip mechanics, which affect things higher up, affecting
overall motor control and 'self image'.

Dunno. Your toes looked fine to me and you already get around
everywhere barefoot, ya damn hippy.

As for the cork idea...well...I can see problems with it (and not just
logistical ones). Still, if Mark is a podiatrist, lets have him speak
up before I make an ass of myself.
