I don't wanna be Johnny Raincloud here, but other than a professional
chef or someone who cooks a LOT, no one needs $100 kitchen knives. The
set I got (6 steak knives, a couple paring knives, bread knife, butcher
knife, poultry shears, and mini-cleaver all in a wooden block) cost $25
and works fine. But hey, if you have the money and the itch, knock
yourself out. (after all, I didn't NEED a Randall) :)

I gotta admit, a knife that can saw through a nail, get hammered through a
steel pipe, saw off the end of a hammer head, and then still cut
paper-thin slices of tomato can't be all bad. Especially at $19.95 for a
set of twenty... including the stand.

I like the fountain pen you can hammer into a door, pierce a drinks can,
then write a letter to your shrink with.
