No the only time she caught a bird in flight it was a crow.
Man she's a good stalker! :)
I was picturing jumping into the air and grabbing it at the last
second as it took flight.
The little dog is only 10 days away from having pups and is fat as
a blowfish, but that didn't stop her.
What's she crossed with? Something worth while I hope. :)
This time the duck(mallard) was by the river. She snuck up on it
and launched herself at it once she got within range, broke its
neck and brought it up the bank, tried to carry it home but got
tired and then dug a hole and buried it. !:-)
Ducks are out of season right now but Debbie wasn't paying
attention and the duck was dead before she realised what happened !

No loss here, I'm not into duck. :/ But only tried it once.
Goose is good tho. :) A friend waited about an hour and a half for
two geese to line their necks up out in a field and shot 'em with
his clunkly old 270 Win. :) One wasn't worth messing with, he
figured. :)
I'm sure he had a migratory bird stamp and they were in season and
all, BTW. ;)
