Suitable Sites

Hi All,

Newbie here, please be gentle. I have lurked and read up a little, and note that there seems to be a few of you from South England, especially the Hampshire area.

Can anyone recommend a good site for a beginner to start flying. After visiting the Southampton Kite Festival the other weekend, I figured Lordshill would be good - only to find it completely packed with other sports this Sunday.

I also tried St. Catherine's Hill, but was thwarted this time by a sudden heavy onset of rain.

Can anyone suggest anywhere suitable?
