Very well Greg. If you had a choice of which shoes to put on before doing
just one of those activities, would you have stilll chosen the
unconventional?

But in writing this I have realized something. I said if you were only
doing one of the activities. This would give you the best results with
given choice, but also narrows it down too much.
What if... like in the army, you need to do more than one activity with
given "shoes", they won't be the best choice for each event but you will
do your best.

SO - if you use russians in your number, in your life, in your
practice/show/video/etc... then I think it would be cheating to change
your balls just to do footcatches. Likewise if you don't use russians but
you change to russians for footcatches.
It really bugs me when a magician will take out another deck of cards for
a new trick. Ho-ly Sheet that's obvious and lame!

Sure somethings will be harder (reverse cascade i find very weird with
russians for some reason) and some easier (I find shower is a dream with
russians) with whatever prop choice you make. So choose what is the least
out of place in your regular array and practice practice practice!!! There
are people doing every trick with every different ball type (without
reason, please don't point out that you cannot do bounce juggling with
russians) but they do it with the one they are comfortable with*


I think that load of mind vomit made some sense. Take it or leave it.
