Re: Chuck Norris Juggling Facts

Chuck Norris can juggle in the complex plane.

Chuck Norris can validate siteswaps with square root (-1). [aka i or j]

NB - After some mathematical discussion, I reckon that bounce juggling my
involve complex number siteswaps.

{
If one takes the beats to be evenly spaced, and throws and catches all
made at the same height, then the height of the throws are proportional to
the square of the ss number (- dwell time).
If the ss is iy, where i = sqrt(-1). Then the time is yli, where l is just
the proportionality between the ss number and the time.
Then the height is (assuming no dwell time, that would just means that y
could be substituted by (y-dwell)) - k*timesquared.
where k is the constant of proportionality (related to that gravity thing
and stuff). Then the height is k(yli)^2 = constant*(yi)^2 =
constant*(y^2)*(i^2) = constant*(-y^2), thus the height is negative,
which, in juggling terms, might indicate bouncing.
The end.
(nb - some steps have been left out.)
}
